Dispute Process
TradieHubAU includes a structured review path for a customer who has concerns after completion proof is submitted.
Opening Australia-wide
TradieHubAU is opening Australia-wide; our first customers and jobs are in South East Melbourne and outer south-east Melbourne. Confirm payment status through the in-app job record and payment statement shown for your specific job.
1. Completion proof
The contracted tradie submits a description and any supported evidence when work is complete.
2. Customer review
The customer can approve completion or raise a dispute while the job is awaiting review. A dispute should describe the concern clearly and include relevant evidence where supported. Only the job customer can open a completion dispute, and only while the job is awaiting review (before the 72-hour window passes); the tradie responds with evidence.
3. Admin review
An authorised admin reviews the job, participants, the held payment amount, completion proof, messages, and submitted dispute material. Disputed jobs cannot use normal customer approval.
4. Recorded outcome
The admin records the payout or refund split and case outcome. Confirm the recorded outcome through the payment status shown in the app and your payment statement.
5. If the customer does not respond
The customer has 72 hours to review completion proof. If they don't respond and there is no open dispute case, the payout release starts automatically; live bank transfers settle once the transfer with the payment provider completes. A dispute opened before the window passes pauses the automatic release.
